Trail One Components set out to craft the dream flat pedal required mandatory features. They integrated a flat pedal platform with a concave pin design, crucial for enhanced grip, with a 1mm dip from edge to spindle center. The spindle's sides peak at 18mm, housing bearings and bushings, and taper to 13.5mm at the center, amplifying the concave feel.
A symmetrical pedal body was key, providing balance and a grounded feel. A 105mm x 105mm platform ensured stability without excess size hindering the ride. Each side has 9 pins (7 metal, 2 molded) arranged for optimal grip, fulfilling our design vision for this versatile flat pedal.
